'No Man Is An Island'
We are all, at sometime in our lives, in a Relationship. It could be an intimate one with a partner or spouse; how we relate to a family member or friend, the way we relate with a manager or work colleague and most importantly the relationship we have with ourselves. What these relationships all share is the potential to be rewarding and fulfilling, they can also be problematic and confusing. The way in which we relate to ourselves can make us feel anxious, depressed, shameful or be the source of low self esteem, therefore the way we feel about ourselves can in turn affect the way we relate to and with others. Although family and friends can help it may be limited and emotionally charged, at these times it can be useful to relate to a professional who can offer a safe and confidential space to work in.
